Toast to Summer
There is no better way to experience wine than with food. Come on in to Toast Winery, located just 16 miles from Penn Yan on the west side of Seneca Lake. Toast is a small farm winery offering wine flights and pours by the glass, as well as local products such as cheese, pickles, wine ice cream, local beers, and local juices. Reservations are not needed for parties less than 8, so pop in as the mood hits you and make the stop this weekend for their unique wine & food pairing!
This seasonal pairing is dubbed Summer Sips & Snacks and available for two more weekends, this weekend June 26-28 and next weekend July 3-5. There is no better time to visit, this experience will keep you and your friends talking about the fun and clever pairings until the next time you visit.
The Summer Sips & Snacks is inspired by summer vibes and BBQing with friends and families. The pairing includes a flight of 5 wines to sip and 5 summer inspired snacks to savor. Your nose and taste buds will ring with joy after each paired experience. I won't share more than that. I want you to experience it without any preconceived notions. Let your nose and palette guide you for your own unique experience.
I will share that Toast offers these pairings each season and my ultimate favorite pairing so far has been the Wine & Pickle Pairing! I absolutely love pickles, yet I don't think I would have ever thought to have pickles with wine. Let me tell you that Toast figured out how to do it right and it was by far my most favorite and most unexpected pairing I've had. Well done Toast Winery, thank you for your inventive and well executed pairings!

The name Toast refers to the tradition of "toasting" wine barrels, the charred process to the barrel that enhances the wine's character and aromas during the aging process. In addition, they celebrate the name as their never ending journey to produce exceptional and quality wine for you. Cheers!
