The screw top came off the Bully Hill Chardonnay Riesling Fusion and with a pour into the glass the aromas of a semi-dry white got my attention. On the first sip: light and refreshing. On the second sip: a burst of apple that is almost citrus like. And just like that, I found a new love for a local wine! 

I typically shy from blended wines, but the description was enticing - citrus! I love my citrus flavors. This Bully Hill semi-dry white is 60% Chardonnay, 40% Riesling and from our hillsides of Keuka Lake. There is no oaky-ness, instead it is light and refreshing, the perfect blend of grapes varietals offering a balance and roundness with zippy notes of tart fruit. The smooth finish offers the palette a moment of happiness and a lingering desire of just one more sip.
